At this time, the only proctored tests are given by the math department. If you don’t have a math course, you won’t need to worry about finding a proctor. If you do have a math course and cannot make it to either the Iola or Burlingame Campuses to take the midterm and final exams during the announced times, you will need to email Bbhelp@allencc.edu and request a proctor form.
It is the student’s responsibility to locate a proctor and a location to take the test. You can refer to the Proctor Approval form to find out suggestions for a proctor. In addition to the list of potential proctors provided on the form, if you are near a college or university that has a testing center, you may be able to utilize those services. If using a testing center, the Proctor Approval form still needs to be submitted.
In order to get approval to use a proposed proctor, the student must submit the Proctor Approval form to Online Learning seven days prior to the date of the exam. After receiving this form, Online Learning will review the request and either approve or deny it. If the request is denied, the student will be notified and may submit a different more suitable proctor. If the request is approved, the student will be notified and the appropriate information will be sent to the proctor prior to the designated test time.
