Online orientation is a free resource. This orientation is offered 30 days before each semester begins. The orientation is designed to get you familiar with Blackboard tools and to get your computer set-up/working with Blackboard. The orientation uses quizzes, discussion boards, surveys, etc. to mimic what is required in an online course. It is not required and it will not impact your GPA. Students report the orientation is helpful in preparing them for online courses and providing the most recent information about Online Learning at Allen.
