I took my quiz or test but I don’t see a score. Why is there an exclamation point or paper and pencil in my Grades?
When a test is started but not completed, a pencil and paper icon appears in My Grades. If your instructor set the assessment for multiple attempts, then you will be able to take it again. However, if the instructor set it for a single attempt, you will need to contact your instructor to find out if they can see your complete submission or if it needs to be reset.
An exclamation point means that the instructor needs to grade the work before your score will appear. An exclamation point also appears in My Grades if you exceed the time limit allowed for an exam. Exams may not shut down when the limit is reached, but the system tracks how long you worked after the deadline.
Here is a list of the various icons you might see under the My Grades button and what they mean.
